The next stage of “pilates” and “fitness clubs” phenomenon – An overall view..
Pilates and fitness – A combo package!!
When Pilates was introduced in the early 2000s, everyone thought that it was some kind of training, which was imparted to the pilots, as per the revelations of Kathey Corey who was an active leader in the community. But she never thought that the training process would become more mainstream as they were initially selected as a training process by a select group and only, few of the people were actually interested to enroll in the “unknown course”. And the other surprising thing was that after the initial training procedure, the Pilates training became more like an addiction, rather than a “set of exercises”.
At the outset, everyone considered that fitness and Pilates, belonged to two different worlds; but when researchers indulged their “brains” into two important themes, they found that the both of them lead to a common objective. Besides, concentrating on the more important areas like core training, intensive and integrative exercise, mind-body fitness had great effects and impact. Now, one can witness that both types of training (starting from all the levels), is being witnessed in both the types of clubs, in fitness and Pilates club. Equipment usage – the overlapping of both the worlds
Even the equipments, which are used in both the types of training, overlap with each other in the perfect ratio. A combination of both small and large equipments are being used to the workout routines. Even the home-users of these equipments are at an advantage; they can get trained and exercised, in both the “tactics”, within the comforts of their home. The dynamicity of these equipments is another highlighting feature to be noted; they can work in different ways with different functionalities, without exceeding the “limit line”.
Starting with principles and ending with innovation..
Many believe that the Pilates trainers are more restricted towards the “authenticity” property, rather than innovation. Especially, those who have practiced this form of training, from the very early years; for instance, Michael Fritzke who have directly worked with some of the professional Pilates trainers. But, opposed to such a notion, many of them believe that the training has to be taught, starting from the principles and they are not to be enclosed under any professional “ring” like the dancers or the rehabilitators. Understanding the beauty of such art forms, without losing the “essence” factor is the one thing, which most of the professionals emphasize on.
Straying from the basic principles is never a method, whatsoever, change happens. Particularly, the lessons like working with the breath and the commitment to our body can work out “wonderful effects”. The teachers like Joseph and Clara (the professionals of the Pilates training group) have their own ways of teaching and practicing the exercises and every time, they work with the breath work and repetitions, they try to add something “new” and “different” (after doing a lot of research work).
The “outside” conditions also determine the “strength of classes”; working-out in the noisy, gym settings can sometimes appear to be distracting and some of them experience a loss of connection with the mind-body setting. For more details visit: http://line5studios.com
